Relief Staff – Safe Passage (Part-Time)

Provides overnight watch and weekend supervision of clients. May assist staff on other areas of daily program needs as designated by the Program Officer. Performs nightly room checks and attends to the general safety and well-being of clients and facility. Assist residents with daily basic independent living skills including but not limited to: cooking, cleaning, job prep, school work, etc. Ensures all residents are home by curfew, following house rules and community expectations at all times. Ensures daily/weekly chores are complete.

Qualifications: Relief Staff must be responsible and knowledgeable in program rules. Must have demonstrated problem-solving skills and be able to assist staff in handling a variety of situations. Relief Staff is required to work within defined limits, subject to direct instruction. Must be able to relate to persons of varied backgrounds and have enough recovery knowledge to work supportively with other treatment staff. Candidates for this position must have documented completion from an alcohol and/or drug treatment program and have one year sobriety form alcohol and other drugs. Incumbent for this position at Safe Place must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with young adults.

Pay $14.33 per hour. Additional 5% bilingual stipend
