Provides night watch and weekend supervision of clients, and may assist staff in other areas of
daily program functioning as designated by the Program Officer. Attends to the general safety
and well-being of clients and facility. Contacts staff in the event of client or facility emergencies.
Other duties assigned.

Qualifications: Shelter Monitor must be responsible and knowledgeable in program rules. They
must have demonstrated problem-solving skills and be able to assist staff in handling a variety of
situations. Shelter Monitor is required to work within defined limits, subject to direct instruction.
They must be able to relate to persons of varied backgrounds and have enough recovery
knowledge to work supportively with other treatment staff. Candidates for this position must
have documented completion from an alcohol and/or drug treatment program if in recovery and
have one year sobriety from alcohol and other drugs. Incumbent for this position must
demonstrate the ability to work effectively with young adults.
Pay $14.33 per hour. Additional 5% bilingual stipend
