CHS is looking for a qualified individual to provide Supervised Visitations for children and families. The Supervised Visitation Program is based in our Salinas and Seaside Family Service Centers. Candidate with experience working with families and/or children in crisis, and background in issues surrounding domestic violence, substance abuse and/or mental illness, a plus.
Responsibilities includes provides supervised visits between non-custodial parents and their child(ren). Monitors and documents all interactions between parents and child(ren). Record keeping procedures. Conducts intakes and assessments and collects fees and provide receipts.

Requirements include a flexible schedule, knowledge and/or experience working with families, children, crisis intervention, mental health, knowledge of child/elderly abuse laws (mandated reporter), Communication skills, cultural sensitivity, confidentiality and bilingual preferred.

Legal Requirements: must be 21 years of age or older. No record of a conviction for driving under the influence (DUI) within the last five years. Not been on probation or parole for the last 10 years. No record of a conviction for child molestation, child abuse, or other crimes against a person. No civil, criminal, or juvenile restraining orders within the last 10 years. Will notify supervisor if there is any personal relationship with client prior to providing services

$17.61 per hour. Additional 5% bilingual stipend
