Conference Description:

The City of Seaside, in collaboration with Community Human Services, Seaside High School and Monterey Peninsula Unified School District, is hosting the Fifth Annual Parent University on Saturday, March 12 from 8:30 AM-1:30 PM at Seaside High School (2200 Noche Buena St). This year’s theme is “Family First | La Familia Primero.” Our keynote speakers will be Monterey County District 4 Supervisor Wendy Root Askew, City of Seaside Council Member Alexis Garcia Arrazola and City of Seaside/Seaside Youth Resource Center Coordinator Ted Black. Topics for the conference will include Mental Health, Self-Care, Vaping, Drug Trends, Law Enforcement, and more! Registration is required. This is a FREE community event featuring informative sessions, an outdoor resource fair, free breakfast and lunch, as well as free childcare (children age 3-11, must be potty taught).
