Safe Place is a comprehensive program for at-risk runaway and homeless youth that provides everything from street outreach, survival aid and temporary shelter to counseling, family reunification and aftercare.


  • Supportive case management and counseling to help resolve crises, encourage and foster utilization of resources including housing and family reunification.
  • Youth Advisory Board (YAB) offers volunteer, advocacy and leadership opportunities for youth
  • Weekly Meals: Thursdays Hot Lunch at 12:30PM, Fridays Hot Breakfast at 9:00AM
  • Overnight shelter provides youth ages 18-24 with a place to spend the night seven (7) days a week. Check-in between 7PM-8PM.
    **In the event of a closure, a notice will be posted on the building.
  • Informal street-based counseling and survival aid including food, clothing, and hygiene items
  • Safe Place also assesses youth for risk of commercial sexual exploitation and provides appropriate interventions when needed.
