Program Description
Genesis House provides residential substance use treatment for adults seeking recovery. Our gender-specific programs create a supportive environment where clients can focus on developing the skills and resources needed for long-term sobriety.

Genesis House is a state-licensed, residential substance abuse treatment program for adults 18 years of age and older. The co-ed program offers 28 beds for stays of 3 to 6 months. The perinatal program offers 8 beds for stays of 6 to 10 months. Children ages 0 to 5 may live with their mothers in treatment. Genesis House is accredited by CARF International.

How to Get Started
Contact the Outpatient Drug Treatment Office in Monterey or Salinas (831-333-3333 or 831-444-4444) to complete a screening and determine eligibility. Referrals can be self-made  or made by family or professionals.

We accept Medi-Cal, private insurance, and offer sliding scale options.
