Monterey, CA, December 30, 2022 – Community Human Services (CHS) has been awarded a $25,000 grant from Kaiser Foundation Hospital Fund for Community Benefit Programs of East Bay Community Foundation. This grant is for General Operations and Core Support for Health and Human Services.
Community Human Services is a 501c (3) nonprofit Joint Powers agency dedicated to providing high-quality mental health, substance abuse, and homeless services to Monterey County residents to help them reach their full potential. Virtually all the work done by CHS addresses underlying conditions or root causes of personal, family, and community problems, whether it is addiction, domestic violence, mental illness, emotional health, homelessness, child abuse, or any number of problems that people have trouble solving on their own.
