SALINAS-MONTEREY CA, JUNE 28, 2016: Community Human Services recently received a $2,500 grant from the Yellow Brick Road Benefit Shop to help fund salaries for Overnight Monitors at Safe Place, our comprehensive program for homeless and runaway youth. Safe Place provides youth everything from street outreach, survival aid, and temporary shelter to counseling, reunification and aftercare.

Since 1969, Community Human Services has provided professional, affordable mental health, substance abuse counseling and homeless services to the residents of Monterey County. These services focus on the entire family and include programs for people of all ages.
